I'm Mike
Woodward and I live in Norfolk, England.
I trade CD-R's all over the world - and try to have a life too. I send CD's by air mail and will get them
out as soon as I can. I'll keep in
contact with you to let you know how the trade is progressing and if there
any unavoidable delays e.g. I've run out of blank CD-R's. Like most
traders, I don't send jewel cases, I just slip the CD's into thin covers and
put them in a padded and usually recycled envelope. Sorry I don't have the time to produce art work but I have a
page of links on this site which should send you to where you need to be to
get covers etc. Happy hunting. |

Not a
technological expert and working with a low spec PC, I use a Hi-Fi Burner
[Pioneer PDR - 509]. I can make both
Digital and Analogue copies. I have
to use CD-R's marked "Digital Audio" and / or "For Music Use
Only" because ordinary PC "Pro Discs" will not copy on my
equipment. Please keep this in mind
if you are sending me blank discs as part of a trade. Computer or "Pro" discs stay
blank in my family. Most of
the CD's on my list are good to very good quality. I use a grading system as a guide, but please remember these
things are subjective. |

Good
songwriting, music with an edge, delivered with feeling. Blues, Soul, R&B, Country, Folk ,
Americana, British Pop, Rock & Roll, Jump, Cajun etc etc. Roots Boots!! Any good
quality recordings by the people on my list and probably many others. I find mostly Soundboard or FM boots
provide the best listening, although audience recordings made with good
equipment capture the atmosphere of a live gig and this can make up for
sometimes inferior sound quality. Any web
links to art work you think I might find useful, please send them to me. Thanks |
